MNC Sekuritas Technical Analyst Herditya Wicaksana said the current stock index shows the potential for strengthening, with an optimistic scenario opening the opportunity for index to form parts of Wave [III] towards the range of 8,200-8.246.
However, there is a risk of short-term correction that can suppress the JCI to test the level of 7,894-7,959.

“Technically, the JCI still has the opportunity to rise to the range of 8,200-8,246, but investors need to be aware of the potential correction to 7,894-7,959,” Herditya said in his daily research.
With this sentiment, Herditya projects that IHSG moves in the support range of 8,005, 7,840 and resistance 8,155, 8,192 today.He also recommended a number of shares, namely BFIN, BKSL, ICBP, and JPFA.
Meanwhile, Binaartha Sekuritas analyst Ivan Rosanova saw that the JCI was still above the support level of 8,005 as well as the SMA-20 line on the 4-hour chart (4H).
This condition shows that the index has the potential to strengthen and test resistance at 8,156.If it successfully penetrated the level, he said, the JCI would likely continue to strengthen to 8,246.
“Technically, the JCI has the potential to strengthen and penetrate resistance 8,156, with the next target at 8,246 if positive momentum is maintained,” Ivan said in his daily research.
He also predicted that IHSG moved at the support levels of 8,005, 7,940, 7,821, and 7,742 and resistance 8,156, 8,246, 8,300, and 8,394 today.Ivan also recommended a number of shares, namely KLBF, Medc, SMGR, TLKM, and UNTR.
JCI closed at 8,099 on Friday (9/26) afternoon.The stock index rose 58.66 points, up 0.73 percent of the previous trade.
Citing RTI Infokom, investors made a transaction of Rp21.72 trillion with the number of shares traded as many as 41.18 billion shares.
At the close of last week, 337 shares strengthened, 310 corrected, and 152 stagnant.
