Chairman of the Indonesian Pingpong League (IPL) Petrus Reinhard Golose stated that Indonesian table tennis is targeting a total of five medals in
SEA Games 2025

Of this number, Petrus said there was a target of one gold medal to be fought for.He is optimistic that the Red and White team can once again be successful on the Southeast Asian table tennis stage.
“I think we can get medals consisting of one gold, one silver and three bronze. Based on the optimism that has been conveyed by the coaches and athletes, I am sure that Indonesia can rise again. We can rise again in Southeast Asia,” said Petrus at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (3/12).

Indonesia sent 10 athletes, consisting of five men and five women.The numbers to be played are men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles and team.
“There are 10 athletes who are leaving, five men and five women. They leave on the 10th [December] and start competing on the 12th,” said Petrus.
Furthermore, Petrus believes that gold will return to Indonesia’s embrace from table tennis after it was last won at the 2005 SEA Games. Repeating 20 years of history is an ambition that is being pursued this year.
“With the existing preparations, we are confident, as was said earlier, that we have not won a gold medal for a long time. I am confident in the athletes and coaches who are fighting there,” he said.
The 2025 SEA Games table tennis schedule runs from 12-19 December.The plan is for the competition to take place in Nonthaburi Province, just north of Bangkok.
