Apart from that, Telkomsel also opened Disaster Response Customer Service Posts located at around 100 points in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra.This post provides:

Furthermore, Telkomsel continues to coordinate closely with the Ministry of Communications and Digital (Komdigi), local governments, disaster management officials, PLN, and local stakeholders to ensure communication services remain available.
“Telkomsel expresses deep empathy and concern for the disaster that befell our brothers and sisters in Sumatra. We are committed to being present in every situation, ensuring communication services remain available and helping affected communities,” said Telkomsel Main Director Nugroho in his statement, Tuesday (2/12).
Separately, Komdigi said that the cellular network in North Sumatra and West Sumatra had recovered 90 percent, while Aceh had only recovered around 40 percent.
“Cellular operators report that in West Sumatra 95 percent has recovered and in North Sumatra 90 percent. For Aceh, electricity problems are still causing around 60 percent of the towers to not operate,” said Minister of Communication and Technology Meutya Hadif after chairing a coordination meeting in Medan, Monday (1/12).
As of Monday (01/12) at 00.00 WIB, the total number of towers experiencing disruption in the three provinces was 2,804 towers, consisting of 1,969 towers in Aceh, 681 in North Sumatra and 154 in West Sumatra.
Recovery in Aceh is targeted to increase significantly in the next four days in line with improvements in electricity supply by PLN.The government is also working with the TNI to speed up the delivery of repair materials to hard-to-reach areas.
80 percent of the tissue recovered
Telkomsel has restored 79.7 percent of the network affected by floods and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra. Apart from that, this state-owned operator also provides free internet, telephone and SMS services for its users.
Telkomsel said it had restored 76.5 percent of cellular services or 5,851 of a total of 7,640 sites in the 3 provinces.
Then, they have also restored 79.7 percent of IndiHome services or 422,551 out of a total of 530,502 lines.
The recovery itself was carried out using various schemes, starting from mobilizing 346 technical personnel, placing additional generators, rerouting backbone and transmission lines, using alternative equipment, to deploying mobile BTS in priority locations.
The following are details of Telkomsel services that have been restored as of Monday (1/12).
– Aceh: 36 percent of Telkomsel sites recovered (708 of 1,964 sites), 41.2 percent of IndiHome lines recovered (59,836 of 145,384 lines)
– North Sumatra: 90 percent of Telkomsel sites recovered (4,136 out of 4,610 sites), 93.3 percent of IndiHome lines recovered (293,911 out of 314,957 lines)
– West Sumatra: 94 percent of Telkomsel sites recovered (1,007 out of 1,066 sites), 93.3 percent of IndiHome lines recovered (68,804 out of 70,161 lines)
