“Defendant Fandy Lingga was proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption together in the case,” said Chief Judge Eryusman at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Tuesday (8/19).

“Based on matters of burdensome and alleviating that exist in the defendant, the panel of judges argues that the punishment or punishment imposed on the defendant would have fulfilled a sense of justice,” the judge said.
The verdict of the panel of judges was lower than the demands of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) who asked the judge to sentence imprisonment for 5 years.
In the case of corruption in the management of tin commodity trading in the area of the Mining Business Permit (IUP) of PT Timah Tbk.In 2015-2022, Fandy was charged with being involved so as to harm state finances worth Rp300 trillion.
The loss includes as much as Rp2.28 trillion in the form of losses on the cooperation activity of the processing equipment for processing equipment with private smelters, Rp26.65 trillion in the form of losses on tin seed payments to PT Timah mining partners, and Rp271.07 trillion in the form of environmental losses.
