On Friday (29/8), the Instagram account Gojek @gojekindonesia and Grab @grabid were seen turning their logos into black nuances.Both of them also pinned uploads related to Affan.
In his upload on Instagram, Gojek uploaded their logo images and black ribbons.Gojek also conveyed condolences to the Affan family.
“Behind every green jacket, there are families, prayers, and struggles. Affan Kurniawan is part of the trip, and his departure leaves a deep sorrow for all of us,” wrote Gojek on Instagram, Friday (29/8).
“We convey the prayers and sympathy for the deceased and the family left behind. We will continue to accompany the family of the deceased, provide the best support, and make sure they are not alone,” continued Gojek.
Grab also uploaded a photo of a number of online motorcycle taxis in black and white.In the upload Grab conveyed the sorrow of the death of Affan Kurniawan.
“The Grab Indonesia extended family is in mourning our brother, Affan Kurniawan, in the August 28, 2025 incident. We also prayed for our brother, Moh Umar Amarudin, to be given strength and recovered soon during the treatment period,” Grab wrote.
“Behind every trip with a green-white jacket, there are families, prayers, and struggles. Affan and Umar are part of the trip, partners who have given meaning and color to all of us. Affan’s departure left deep sorrow, while Umar’s struggle became a reminder for us to continue to maintain and strengthen each other,” he continued.
