Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center, Anang Supriatna, said that the investigation was carried out by investigators from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Roundhouse, on Monday (6/10).
“The witness being examined is PRA as Director of Government Relations and Policy at PT Google Indonesia,” he said in a written statement, Tuesday (7/10).

Apart from PRA, Anang said investigators also examined ten other witnesses, namely DS as ASN at the Goods & Services Procurement and Policy Institute;APU as Member of the Working Group for the Selection of Electronic Catalog Providers for the Goods & Services Procurement Policy Institute in 2020.
Then SR as Head of PT Samafitro’s Imaging Solution Division;GH as Director of PT Turbo Mitra Perkasa;CI as Main Expert Auditor at the IB Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture for 2013-2024 and INRK as Plt.Director of Junior High Schools, Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Secondary Education in 2022-2024.
Furthermore, WJA as Plt.Director of SMA Ministry of Research and Technology in 2022-2024;MWD as Head of the General Bureau and Procurement of Goods and Services of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020;TRI as Head of the General Bureau and Procurement of Goods and Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2021;HK as Treasurer of Assistant Expenditures for the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2022 was also examined.
However, he did not explain further about the material for the examination of the eleven witnesses.He only said that the examination was carried out to complete the case files.
“Examination of witnesses is carried out to strengthen evidence and complete the filing in the case in question,” he concluded.
The Attorney General’s Office previously named former Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of the Education Digitalization Program for the 2019-2022 period.
During that period, the Ministry of Education and Culture provided 1.2 million laptop units for schools in Indonesia, especially in 3T areas with a total budget of IDR 9.3 trillion.
The procurement of this laptop was chosen to use the Chrome or Chromebook operating system even though it has many weaknesses and is not effective as a learning facility in 3T areas because it does not have internet access.
Apart from Nadiem, the Attorney General’s Office also named four suspects, namely the Director of SMP Kemendikbudristek 2020-2021, Mulyatsyah;Director of SD Kemendikbudristek 2020-2021, Sri Wahyuningsih;Former special staff of the Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim, Jurist Tan;and Former Technology Consultant at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ibrahim Arief.
Due to the actions of the suspects, the state allegedly suffered losses of up to IDR 1.98 trillion, consisting of losses due to Item Software (CDM) amounting to IDR 480 billion and a laptop price mark up of IDR 1.5 trillion.
