A giant sinkhole suddenly appeared on the streets of the Capital City

, to make local residents must be evacuated.

Reporting the big hole appeared on Wednesday (9/24) in the morning near the Vajira Hospital and the local police station.According to journalists

, the hole is about 50 meters in depth.

A number of police and local officials were seen closing the location around Sinkhole.
Director of the Bangkok Disaster Prevention Department, Suriyhachai Rawiwan, said this hole was likely to arise due to heavy rain and leaky water pipes.
“There is a leak in the water pipe. Water from the pipe erodes the ground under the road until this incident occurs,” he said, as quoted

So far there have been no reports of victims in this incident.
Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said the location of this sinkhole was a station area that collapsed.This area is part of the Mass Rapid Transit underground station service which is currently investigating the cause of the emergence of Sinkhole.
A video uploaded on social media shows residents running around on Jalan Samsen after the big hole appeared.In the video, Sinkhole looks filled with water.
Vajira Hospital in a statement on Facebook stated that his party would temporarily stop outpatient services.The hospital promised to return to operation soon.
