Israel
to immediately stop the hunger crisis in
Gaza Strip
, Palestine.
In a statement after meeting with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wednesday (8/20), Wadephul said Israel had to take a stand to overcome the suffering of the Gaza people.
“You know that we support Israel’s resistance to Hamas militias, but we also feel the suffering of the people of Gaza is unbearable and urges Israel to take further action that can alleviate this suffering,” Wadephul said in Jakarta.
Wadephul on that occasion also called for all parties to encourage the ceasefire to be reached immediately.He also requested that all Hamas prisoners in Gaza be released immediately.
“There are real opportunities to resolve this conflict now. Many countries intervene about this problem. I believe we all want this terrible conflict to be overcome through a peaceful process,” Wadephul said.
Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, has killed more than 62 thousand people, the majority of children and women.
Israel continues to block a humanitarian assistance to make Gazans hit by an acute hunger crisis.Many Gazans died from malnutrition, in addition to the brutal attack of the Zionist State forces.
Various countries, including Western countries, were furious and began to demand Israel to stop the blockade.
Israel is now starting to allow humanitarian assistance to enter Gaza even though it still continues to make a number of restrictions.
Qatar and Egypt have recently offered a ceasefire proposal to Hamas and Israel.It contained, the termination of war for 60 days as well as the remaining hostages.
Hamas has agreed to the proposal of the mediators.While Israel has not given a response.
