Former Chairman of the Supreme Court Nepal,
Sushila Karki
, was appointed as a prime minister to lead the transition on Friday (12/9).
Karki, who is now 73 years old, was inaugurated by President Ram Chandra Paudel, after the previous prime minister resigned a massive demonstration to trigger riots in the Capital City.
“Congratulations! We pray for your success, pray for the success of this country,” Paudel told Karki after the inauguration ceremony at the Presidential Palace, which was broadcast on government television, quoted
