President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated
Ferry Juliantono
as
Minister of Cooperatives
replacing Budi Arie Setiadi.
Previously, Ferry served as Deputy Minister of Cooperatives (Wamenkop).
Besides Ferry, Prabowo also removed Sri Mulyani as Minister of Finance.The position of the Minister of Finance is now filled by Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.
This was in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 86 of 2025.
“Appointed as Minister and Deputy Minister of State Red and White Cabinet in the remaining term of office 2024-2029, each … Third Ferry Joko Juliantono as Minister of Cooperatives,” said the Presidential Decree which was read at the State Palace on Monday (8/9).
Previously, Cooperative Minister Budi Arie Setiadi was confirmed to have been hit by a reshuffle today, Monday (8/9)
The replacement of Budi Arie as Minister of Cooperatives was announced by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.
According to him, President Prabowo Subianto conducted a reshuffle or shake the Red and White Cabinet today.
A number of ministers were replaced, including the first Coordinating Ministry for Politics and Security, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Migrant Workers’ Protection, the Ministry of Cooperatives and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
“For various considerations and evaluation input. So in the afternoon at the same time the President decided to make changes to the composition of the Red and White Cabinet in several positions namely the Ministry of Politics and Security, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Migrant Workers’ Protection, the Ministry of Cooperatives and the Ministry of Youth and Sports,” Prasetyo Hadi said at the Palace.
Prabowo will also inaugurate the Minister for the new ministry, namely the Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
Separately, Minister of Cooperative Budi Arie Setiadi responded to the news of the Ministry of Cooperatives with the Ministry of Micro and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) to be re -combined.
Budi Arie said the merger of the two ministries was a prerogative of President Prabowo Subianto.
“That is the president’s prerogative,” Budi Arie said when met at the Indonesian Parliament Building, Central Jakarta, Monday (8/9) quoted detikFinance.
Budi Arie claimed not to get news about the cabinet reshuffle.However, he said the change of ministers was Prabowo’s prerogative.
“That is the president’s prerogative. Not yet (information can be exposed to reshuffle),” he explained.
