The Malaysian Football Federation (FAM) still believes in the seven naturalized players

Secretary General Fam, Noor Azman Rahman, admitted that his party made a mistake in terms of administrative when taking care of the naturalized player documents to FIFA.
“We have identified technical errors in the process of submitting documents made by administrative staff,” Noor Azman was quoted as saying by the New Straits Times, Sunday (9/28).

Noor Azman admitted that there was an error from FAM Malaysia in the submission of the seven Naturalization of the Malaysian national team.However, Noor Azman made sure the seven players were valid to strengthen the Malaysian national team.
“Fam responded seriously. However, we emphasize that the naturalized players involved are legitimate Malaysian citizens,” said Noor Azman.
Seven naturalized players of the Malaysian national team received a sentence of 12 months to play at all levels of football.The seven players are Facundo Garces, Imanol Machuca, Hector Hector, Gabriel Palmero, Rodrigo Holgado, Joao Figueiredo, and Jon Irazabal.
In addition, FIFA also sentenced the 2,000 Swiss FRANCS to the seven players.While FAM Malaysia received a sanction of a fine of 350 thousand Swiss franc.
FAM’s statement that there has been a technical error in the process of submitting documents to FIFA is fairly reasonable.
The reason is that the issue of FIFA is that FAM uses ‘Doctored Documentation’ or ‘Falsified Documents’, referring to the documents that have been changed, modified, or falsified to deceive or mislead.
FAM itself has sent the honor of the Malaysian Football Association (FAM) Tan Sri Hamidin Mohd Amin to meet directly with FIFA President Gianni Infantino in Zurich, Switzerland.
Fam hasn’t appealed.The new FAM will appeal after receiving information in full from FIFA related to existing problems.
