Fadli said that one of the meeting’s agendas was to report on the progress of the process of determining the title of National Hero.However, he was reluctant to detail the discussion with Prabowo later.

“Later we will report (the title of heroism), later after this,” said Fadli at the location.
He said he would convey a number of names of figures that had been proposed by the public to Prabowo.
However, Fadli was reluctant to comment further regarding the possibility of Indonesia’s 2nd President Soeharto receiving the title of national hero.
“I want to report first on the progress of the existing input,” he said.
Suharto was included in the list of 40 names proposed as national heroes.The list of names was officially handed over to Fadli Zon as Minister of Culture and Chair of the Titles, Service and Honors (GTK) Council, last Tuesday (21/10), at the Ministry of Culture Office, Jakarta.
Palace Spokesperson and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said President Prabowo Subianto was studying the names that had been proposed by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
“We have officially received the names of our heroes from the Ministry of Social Affairs as a result of the Titles and Merits Council. The President is currently studying them because quite a lot of names have been submitted,” he told reporters, quoted Friday (31/10).
