Hajj Implementation Agency (BP)
Become a ministry through the revision of Law Number 8 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Hajj and Umrah (PIHU).

Marwan Dasopang revealed that the proposal was stated through the Inventory of Problem (DIM) List of the Hajj Bill sent by the government to the DPR.
He claimed not to have a problem because he had proposed the same thing from the start.
“Yes, the sound of the government is already in the ministry. And we are just happy, it is our proposal,” Marwan said after the Panja Meeting of the Bill in the Parliament Complex, Friday (8/22).
However, Marwan reminded that the proposal of the Ministry of Hajj in the future would not overlap with the work of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag).Because, the implementation of the pilgrimage and Umrah is still in a religious corridor.
“This is still religious affairs, actually Hajj and Umrah are religious matters,” he said.
Even so, the PKB politician mentioned the article governing BP Haji-which originally wanted to be separated from the Ministry of Religion and is now a ministry-after being passed.
He ensured that his authority did not overlap between BP Haji who became the ministry with the Ministry of Religion.
“It was agreed that the sound of the article. So it did not cause overlapping,” said Marwan.
“And that can be explained, this is a religious affair in this field of the Minister of Religion, this is a special religious affair on the organization of Hajj and Umrah,” he added.
The DPR began holding a marathon meeting to discuss the Hajj and Umrah Bill after receiving a surprise that was announced through the plenary of the opening period of Session I 2025-2026.
In fact, the meeting that was held today, outside the normal schedule, because Friday is generally a faction day and the DPR is free from the trial schedule.
The DPR targets the Hajj Bill to be completed during this trial period, even for next week.They considered the ratification of the Hajj Bill urged to follow the request of certainty from the government of Saudi Arabia.
