This step follows in the footsteps of Frankfurt Airport which already has similar facilities, but Dog Relais presents more exclusive experience with a variety of premium services.
“We are committed to providing a comprehensive experience for passengers. Dog Relais is a form of our dedication to meet the needs of pet owners,” said Marilena Blasi, Aeroporti commercial head, Fiumicino Airport operator.

Dog Relais offers standard rooms with rates ranging from 40 euros or around Rp. 786 thousand per night.Each room is equipped with a temperature regulator and private garden for dog comfort.
For dogs that are shy or do not like to socialize, there is a private cage in a separate location from the public play area.To help the dog relax, ambient music with low frequency (432 Hertz) is rotated every night.
Additional services include basic care such as bathing and toothbrush, to premium options such as aromatherapy with lavender or peppermint aroma, as well as massage with arnica cream to relieve muscle and joint tension.
The owner can also choose a premium room for 60 euros (around Rp1.7 million) per night, which is equipped with a 24 -hour video call and special application to provide snacks via automatic dispensers.

Since operating in May 2025, Dog Relais recorded an average occupancy rate of 66 percent, with all 40 rooms fully charged during the August holiday season, when Fiumicino Airport was visited by travelers.
