Mendez said that Khabib’s team went berserk because Dillon Danis deliberately sat between Khabib’s team and again made fun of Islam.
“That guy, when will he grow up? What is he doing? He’s sitting in the fighter’s stands and sitting where Team Khabib is. Come on, man! You’re looking for trouble,” said Mendez in an interview with Submission Radio.

Not only was he sitting among Khabib’s team, Danis was considered to have deliberately shown a pornographic video made as if Islam Makhachev was having a sexual relationship.
Danis then does something with a porn star and hugs Makhachev.Then Danis also said bad things about Makhachev and Team Khabib.
“What do you expect when you do something like that? You go and sit with other people and you make them very angry, very disrespectful.”
“Stop making fun of people’s religion, man. That’s what he’s doing, he’s making fun of it,” said Javier Mendez.
Dillon Danis’ ridiculous action sparked anger from Khabib’s team which ended in a fight.Video footage from the match venue showed Danis and Abubakar Nurmagomedov in the middle of the commotion.
Security immediately moved to separate the fighters, while UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell stepped in to calm the situation.
Tensions between the Danis and Khabib camps have been rooted for a long time.In 2018, Khabib jumped through the ring to attack Danis after his submission win against Conor McGregor.
