Calvin Verdonk

Calvin Verdonk began his journey with NEC since lent from Feyenoord in 2017. He had strengthened FC Twente before finally returning to Nijmegen three years ago.
“I have gone through many things. First played in the Jupiler League with NEC, then had left. I returned when NEC was promoted. After that, the club continued to grow and now on a good track,” Verdonk said.
Although he will continue his career in France, Verdonk still has great hopes for his former club.
“I hope NEC can finish at the top of the season. Who knows, next season we can meet in Europe,” said Verdonk.
“Of course I have to fight first in the Champions League with Lille. But if NEC finished second this season, I would be happy to meet them,” said Verdonk with a smile.
