confirm termination of employment (
Layoffs
) to 270 employees in October 2025.
This step is part of the organization’s adjustments to reduce operational costs, strengthen the business structure and open up long-term growth opportunities.
Even though the company’s revenue increased 25.6 percent until September 2025, the company still recorded a net loss of IDR 1.84 trillion with the biggest expenses apart from salaries coming from discounts, marketing and other operational costs.

“With deep consideration, in October 2025, the company needs to make organizational adjustments to ensure the Company can move more effectively and efficiently with the aim of opening up opportunities for sustainable growth for the Company and creating long-term value for the Company and its shareholders,” said Blibli Director and Corporate Secretary Eric Winarta in an official statement, quoted from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Information Disclosure, Wednesday (5/11).
“The number of employees affected by the organizational adjustments is 270 (two hundred and seventy) company employees,” he added.
Eric emphasized that the layoff process is permanent, will be completed in October 2025, and there is no option for relocation or changing to contract workers.All affected employees have received compensation packages in accordance with or even more than the provisions of applicable labor law.
“The organizational adjustments carried out by the company in October 2025 are permanent, and there are no other schemes such as transfer to contract or relocation to another unit,” said Eric.
“For all affected employees, the company has provided a compensation package that is appropriate or even more than what is regulated in the provisions of the labor laws in force in Indonesia,” he added further.
He emphasized that these layoffs did not have a material impact on daily operations, including delivery of goods and services

Apart from organizational efficiency, Blibli is preparing other steps to reduce costs, such as optimizing advertising and marketing costs through business models

, building ecosystem advantages, increasing automation, and utilizing technology for efficient work processes.

In its medium and long term financial plans, Blibli seeks to balance growth with profitability through product mix optimization, cost efficiency, and the use of artificial intelligence to understand customers, personalize interactions, and more targeted marketing initiatives.
Eric emphasized that there was no material impact on legal aspects or long-term risks to operational continuity other than the employee compensation package.The company also emphasized that there is no other material information that could affect business continuity or share prices that has not been disclosed.
“Apart from the compensation package for a number of affected employees in the context of organizational adjustments, the company does not see any material impact on financial and legal aspects, both currently and potentially in the future,” said Eric.
“To the best of the company’s knowledge, apart from what has been disclosed to the public to date, there is no other material information/important events that could affect the company’s survival and could affect the company’s share price that have not been disclosed to the public,” he said.
Apart from layoffs, Blibli will also implement the Management and Employee Stock Option Plan (MESOP) program in accordance with the approval of the previous Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) and is committed to complying with capital market regulations if there are additional definitive corporate actions.
