) which is the flagship program of President Prabowo Subianto.
One of the criticisms of BEM KM UGM was one of them through the theatrical action of herding Prabowo’s ‘face’ by the Masked Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

In this action, participants also put up various banners, one of which criticized MBG Prabowo and slipped it with the term ‘Bacot Gede Capital’.
Chairman of BEM KM UGM, Tiyo Ardianto said, Prabowo’s masked cow was presented as a symbol or form of satire criticism for the implementation of the MBG program.
“This is a form of satire criticism because the cow is not a sign of humiliation, animals are not lower than humans. Cows are a symbolism of nutritional givers, isn’t that what the President aspires to the MBG program, but the task of the President not only gives the president’s task nutrition is to carry out the mandate of the constitution,” Tiyo said, Wednesday (9/24).
BEM KM UGM criticism of the first MBG was triggered by a case of beneficiary or school students who experienced poisoning in various regions of consuming dishes from the program.The number of victims, said Tiyo, counted up to 6,542 people.
“So that in the context of poisoning it seems we need to be vigilant, if with all the completeness of the state’s tool the President actually carry out the neglect of supervision,” said Tiyo.
Reflecting on the many cases of poisoning, BEM KM UGM urged Prabowo and the government to evaluate the total MBG.Students also encourage an increase in supervision in the implementation of the program which they consider ambitious.
“If the president does not want to evaluate a total, it should be canceled (MBG),” he said.
Moreover, continued Tiyo, the consequence of maintaining the image of the President with the implementation of MBG is the education budget that is cut all-out.According to him, the 2026 State Budget shows that the MBG budget allocation is claimed to be part of the 20 percent Mandatory-Spending APBN for education.
Tiyo said, around 44 percent of the total education budget or around Rp335 trillion was allocated for MBG.Children are fed, but the future of their education is actually sacrificed and this is a betrayal of the constitution.
BEM KM believes, Prabowo should be ashamed because in fact he is not worthy of appearing in front of the world.Meanwhile, said Tiyo, Prabowo openly violates Human Rights (HAM) through the MBG program that threatens the safety and ignores children’s education.
“We ask for one thing, MBG do not use money for education because it is a betrayal of the constitution,” he said.
“But the basic point is about the total evaluation of whether it is still feasible, it is still possible with our APBN who deficit like that to be carried out by the President who knows better,” continued Tiyo.
In the discussion session, BEM KM UGM re -played Prabowo’s speech at the United Nations, including a statement about Indonesia ready to recognize Israel if Palestine was independent in accordance with the framework of the two -country solutions.
According to Tiyo, Prabowo’s statement is a form of betrayal of the history of the nation’s partiality over the struggle of the Palestinian people, by delivering the solution of the two countries as the only way.
“It negates the resistance and all the fighting spirit of the Indonesian people to Palestine. Of course the main attitude of a president is to translate the attitude of his people. Our nation firmly wants that there is no colonialism above the world so there is no bargaining over Palestine desired by the people of the Palestinian President must be 100 percent independent,” concluded Tiyo.
