Bareskrim Polri examined the Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) of Bangka Belitung (
Babylon
) Hellyana in the alleged case
fake diploma
, on Monday (9/15) today.
Hellyana’s attorney, Zainul Arifin, said that his client was examined by investigators for 3 hours from 11:00 to 14:00 WIB and was questioned by a total of 20 questions.
Zainul explained that this examination was the same case which was previously processed by the Babel Regional Police and is now taken over by Bareskrim.
“Today there are approximately 20 questions. Which question only repeats. Repeating from questions at the Bangka Belitung Regional Police,” he told reporters after an examination at the Criminal Investigation Police, Monday (9/15).
He said that in the examination his client had also submitted the original proof of ownership of the original Hellyana diploma.Starting from the appointment of the original diploma and the value transcript as outlined in the Minutes of the Examination (BAP).
In addition, he said, his party had submitted a graduation photo, proof of thesis to the supervisor.In the examination, he said, Hellyana had also explained the difference in data from the Ministry of Education and Saintek with Azzahra University.
Zainul explained that this happened because the Database of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Ministry of Social Affairs Saintek was wrong uploading documents.He made sure the Deputy Governor of Babel Hellyana graduated in 2012.
He then considered the accusation of fake diplomas addressed to his clients was very full of political content.Zainul confirmed that his party would report back the parties who slandered his client.
“We have conveyed the evidence, documents and the like. But the name is related to the wrong upload, then the wrong uploading documents, that is not our domain. So it is important later the investigator will be confirmed to the inspection,” he concluded.
Previously, Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung Hellyana was reported to the Criminal Investigation Police regarding the alleged fake diploma case on Monday (7/21) today.
The report was posted by Bangka Belitung University students, Ahmad Sidik accompanied by his legal counsel Herdika Sukma Negara.
The report has been received and registered with the number LP/B/339/VII/2025/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri, July 21, 2025.
“Today we came from Bangka Belitung to report the Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung with the initial H there was a suspicion using a fake diploma,” Herdika said at the Criminal Investigation Police.
