Comey is Trump’s political enemy for a long time.He was appointed as a special prosecutor to investigate the alleged Russian intervention in Trump’s victory in the 2016 US Presidential Election.

“Justice in America! One of the worst humans ever possessed by this country is James Comey, a former corrupt FBI boss,” Trump said through his upload on the Social Truth on Thursday (9/25).
Comey was charged with giving a false statement and efforts to obstruct the trial process at the congress.Both of these charges are related to their testimony in the session of the Senate Committee on 30 September 2020.

said that the alleged false statement was related to the investigation of the “Artic Haze” case, where a number of secret documents and information were leaked to the media.
The trial judge announced that 14 judges agreed to charge Comey for the two cases.
This made Comey the first senior US official to face federal laws’ laws when Trump was trying to “punish” his political enemies.
If proven guilty, Comey is threatened with a prison sentence of up to five years.
In the trial on Thursday (9/25), Comey who was present through the Zoom video claimed that he had never ordered someone to speak on anonymous conditions to the media “related to the confidential information of the FBI.
“The statement was wrong,” Comey said.
Comey also uploaded a video on Instagram related to his response to the charges he received.
“Let’s face the trial and still believe,” Comey said in his upload.
He admitted that he was disappointed with the US Ministry of Justice for the indictment which according to a number of parties was laden with politics.However, Comey believes he is innocent.
