in Indonesian regions.
He emphasized that the people currently want the government to stop the practice of corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN) which is considered to be the root of the nation’s problems.
“Pak Prabowo is unfortunate, that’s all my conclusions. Actually this problem has happened from the past. What was complained of by the community was our bureaucracy full of KKN. Corruption, collusion, nepotism, and that was an extraordinary disease, not only now, from the beginning,” said Anwar Abbas Dalam

, Tuesday (2/9).
He quoted the view of the former Chief Justice of MK Mahfud MD who compared corruption practices during the New Order and Reform.According to him, if in the New Order era corruption only occurred in the executive, then in the reform era it actually spread to all state institutions, namely the legislative and judiciary.
“Even Mahfud MD tries to make a comparison between the New Order and the Reformation Order. What is the difference between the New Order and the Reform Order?(KKN) breeds, “he said.
He considered the transition of government from the 7th President Joko Widodo to President Prabowo Subianto showed that the main unrest of the community was not just a matter of change of regime, but a fundamental demand to end the KKN practice.
“Once there was a change of regime from Mr. Jokowi to Mr. Prabowo, suddenly erupted like this. Actually the point that was complained by the community was to stop KKN. Stop corruption, collusion, nepotism,” he said.
Prabowo’s steps have not touched the root of the problem
Regarding the government’s response that highlighted the injured police promotion in the demonstration as a form of appreciation, Anwar considered that the move was not enough to touch long -term issues.
“In my opinion there are actions made by the government that is short-term, medium-term, long-term does not solve the problem. Therefore, I frankly see what is very important now is about what the demands of this community? They ask that KKN be stopped. The second is that the law be upheld,” Anwar said.
In addition to legal and corruption issues, he also highlighted the increasingly wide-widen socio-economic gap.He gave an example of the high number of job seekers who were not comparable to employment.
“Extraordinary job seekers, layoffs are also extraordinary. I am very surprised when Mr. Jusuf Kalla said his company needed 20 engineers, who proposed to 23 thousand, try to imagine. There was already a problem in the world of our economy and in our world of education. Means between our world of education with our business world is not connected, there is no

.Therefore, for me who thought it must be resolved together, “he explained.
According to Anwar, all elements of the nation must cooperate with sincerity to improve conditions.
Anwar stressed that building the nation cannot only be handed over to one institution.Synergy between the people, government, legislative, and law enforcement officials is needed so that Indonesia can develop fairly and morally.
“Therefore, this nation cannot be taken care of by the government. This nation cannot be taken care of by the police. This nation cannot be taken care of by the DPR. This nation cannot be taken care of by my people. The people need the government, the people need the DPR, the people need the police,” Anwar said.
“Therefore, all elements of this nation must work together in developing the country, so that this country can become a country that is appropriate and dreaming. So it is advanced, but also not just advanced, fair and moral,” he added.
