Tajikistan U-17 national team coach, Ragini Marco, said he would improve a number of things after a 2-2 draw against
Indonesian U-17 national team
at the 2025 Independence Cup, Tuesday (12/8).
Marco highlighted the weaknesses of foster children in this fight.He said his team was weak in anticipating the movement of Indonesian U-17 national team players.
“They instead focus on the ball, while the movement of the opponent is lacking in anticipation. This will be one of the records that will be corrected,” he said as reported by Antara.
“Overall the game of the two teams is quite interesting,” he continued.
Tajikistan himself showed mental unyielding in the match against the U-17 national team.This is because Tajikistan can equalize twice even though it is left behind first.
The Garuda Asia team twice won through goals scored by Mierza Firjatullah and Fadly Alberto.However, Tajikistan can reply through Zarifzoda Zarif and Ashuralizoda Nazrullo.
Ashuralizoda Nazrullo’s goal in the 89th minute broke the Indonesian U-17 national team victory over Tajikistan U-17 which was already in sight.
This draw made the Indonesian U-17 national team win one point from the first match of the 2025 Independence Cup. With this draw, Indonesia ranked second in the standings under Mali.
In the first match, Mali beat Uzbekistan 5-1.While in third and fourth place is occupied by Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, Indonesia will fight Uzbekistan in the second match of the 2025 Independence Cup, Friday (8/15).While Tajikistan will challenge Mali.
