Police arrest

Sinjai, South Sulawesi from the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction, Kamrianto (31) after being suspected of being involved in the case of burning a Fortuner car belonging to a Democratic Party cadre, Iskandar.Currently, Karmianto and his partner, Sufriadi (35) are being detained and have become suspects.
“Yes, that’s right, both of them have been arrested,” said Head of Public Relations of the Sinjai Police, Ipda Agus Santoso, to reporters, Wednesday (5/11).
The car burning case occurred in the victim’s yard and was reported to the police on Thursday, October 23.The case started when the victim parked his car at 02.00 WITA.Then at around 03.45 WITA there was an explosion and the victim found his car engulfed in flames.

“The victim experienced material loss and objected and reported it,” he said.
After receiving the report, the police carried out an investigation and arrested the two perpetrators along with evidence in the form of a Xenia car, jacket and cellphone.
“So there are two suspects, namely, KM is a member of the council and SF. However, we are still investigating their motives,” he said.
As a result of their actions, the two suspects were charged with Article 187 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st subsidiary Article 170 paragraph (1) and Article 406 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, the Sinjai DPRD Honorary Board will immediately follow up on the case of DPRD member Kamrianto after receiving information from the police.
“We will immediately follow up according to the mechanism stipulated in the DPRD regulations regarding rules and code of ethics,” said the Chair of the Sinjai DPRD BK, Ambo Tuwo.
