If the target of 6.4 million units is fulfilled this year, Indonesia’s motorbike sales will set the latest record over the past five years. The record will also be achieved without the maximum contribution of electric motors which are now stagnant after the subsidy of the purchase of Rp. 7 million per unit was stopped by the government.
The highest record of Indonesian motorcycle sales of all time was achieved in 2011 as many as 8 million units.
