Analyst Doo Financial Futures Lukman Leong said the rupiah weakened against the US dollar which was rebounded by the anticipation of Hawkish the Fed’s speech.
“The US dollar rebounded by anticipating Hawkish’s speech, the chairman of The Fed Jerome Powell on several occasions this week, including FOMC Treatics,” he told cartitleloansIndonesia.com.
Today, he projects the rupiah to move in the range of IDR 16,150 – IDR 16,250 per US dollar.
