“We will use this data later for further determination of the quota in 2026. So that we no longer face the same problems as 2025,” Laode said in a working meeting with the House of Representatives Commission XII, Wednesday (1/10).
Private gas stations have experienced scarcity of stock in recent months.
Shell Indonesia, for example, stated the shortage of stock since August 2025. In fact, there are currently only 5 out of 197 gas stations that have stock, and that is very thin.
“So the only 5 who sells gasoline, and our estimates tomorrow will be totally expired. So indeed we really experience stock out, scarcity for gasoline type fuel,” said Moburity Indonesia’s Mobility Director & Managing Director, Ingrid Siburian.
Meanwhile, BP AKR gas station stock is still better a little can last until the middle until the end of the month.However, that is only available in a few locations.
