) After three players were sentenced to FIFA.
On Friday (26/9), the FIFA Disciplinary Committee officially imposed sanctions on the Malaysian Football Association (FAM) and seven naturalized Malaysian teams for violating Article 22 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code (FDC) related to counterfeiting and use of fake documents, Friday (9/26).
As a result of the case, FIFA imposed sanctions on FAM with a fine of 350,000 CHF or equivalent to Rp7.3 billion.

Then each of the seven Malaysian Timans players namely Gabriel Felipe Arrocha, Facundo Tomas Garces, Rodrigo Julian Holgado, Imanol Javier Machuca, Joao Vitor Brandao Figueiredo, Jon Irazabal Iraurgui, and Hector Alejandro Hevel Serrano were subject to a fine of CHF 2,000.
The seven players were also prohibited from participating in all activities related to football for 12 months, valid from the date of the decision notification.
Three of the seven players belonged to JDT: Hector Hevel, Jon Irazabal, and Joao Figueiredo.Without the three naturalized players, JDT drew 0-0 against Japanese club Machida Zelvia, in the Asian Champions League IA, Tuesday (30/9).

The effect of the absence of the three players because FIFA was sentenced to JDT.The club nicknamed the southern tiger blamed Fam for being wrong in the submission of naturalized documents so that the three players were sentenced to FIFA.
“Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football club was disappointed over the occurrence of technical errors in the process of handing over documents by the Malaysian Football Association (FAM) which resulted in the suspension of three Malaysian national team players who played for JDT,” JDT President Director Luis Garcia said in an upload on Instagram.
Garcia hopes that Fam will immediately resolve this problem, so that the three players’ sentences will be revoked, and the player can be played again by JDT.
“We hope that this problem can be resolved soon and the players involved can return to represent JDT in the near future,” Garcia said.
