Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Djamari Chaniago to be the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security (Menko Polkam) at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (9/17) afternoon.
He became the Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security to replace Budi Gunawan (BG) who was previously removed by Prabowo in the cabinet shake process or reshuffle last Monday (8/9).
After BG was removed, the task of the Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security was handed over by Prabowo or AD Interim to the Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin.
After being inaugurated, Djamari held an internal meeting with the deputies in the Ministry of Politics and Security.
He claimed to have received a report about internal issues.Djamari also received a report about the desk-desk that was previously in the Ministry of Politics and Security.
“I met all the members in this Coordinating Ministry. The focus we were talking about, we got a report that was related to internal,” he said.
