MNC Sekuritas Technical Analyst Herditya Wicaksana said the current index was still in the consolidation phase.He considered the movement of the index had the potential to go down first to test the level
support
in the range of 7,859-7,891.
After that, the chance of reinforcement re-opened to the area of 7,983-8,001.

With this sentiment, Herditya projects the JCI to move in the range
support
7,848, 7,619 and
resistance
7,971, 8,022 today.He also recommended a number of shares, namely ASII, BIRD, BRIS, and Dewa.
Meanwhile, Binaartha Sekuritas analyst Ivan Rosanova projects that the JCI is still likely to continue the trend.
The closest target of the increase is at the level of 8,007, as long as the index is able to survive above the minor support 7,912.However, there is a possibility of a brief correction if the index falls below that level.
“IHSG tends to continue the trend up to 8,007, but if it goes down below 7,912, there is the potential to fill the gap at 7,889,” Ivan said in his daily research.
He also predicted that IHSG moved at the support levels of 7,912, 7,821, 7,742, and 7,604, and resistance 7,953, 8,025, and 8,102 today.Ivan also recommended a number of shares, namely AMRT, BMRI, CPIN, PGAS, and UNVR.
JCI closed at 7,957 on Tuesday (9/16) afternoon.The stock index strengthened thinly 20.57 points, up 0.26 percent of previous trading.
Citing RTI Infokom, investors made a transaction of Rp16.05 trillion with the number of shares traded as many as 44.50 billion shares.
At the close of yesterday, 330 shares strengthened, 320 corrected, and 152 stagnant.
