President of the United States (US)
Donald Trump
said on Tuesday (9/9) that Israel’s decision to attack Qatar was made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and not by him.
“Unilateral bombings in the Qatar region, a sovereign country and close allies close to the United States, who work very hard and boldly take risks with us to mediate peace, do not put the goals of Israel or America,” Trump wrote on social media.
“However, eliminating Hamas, who has taken advantage of the suffering of those who live in Gaza, is a decent goal,” he continued, as reported by

Israeli air strikes hit the capital city of Qatar, Doha, on Tuesday (9/9), targeting senior Hamas officials who gathered to discuss the latest US weapons proposals for Gaza.
Some explosions were heard throughout the city, with smoke seen steaming over the Katara district.According to media reports, around 12 air strikes hit the building of residence.
Qatar himself strongly condemned what he described as “Israeli cowardly attack”.Qatar also confirmed that the attack had hit the building of residence that accommodated several members of the Hamas Political Bureau.
“This criminal attack is a blatant violation of all international laws and norms, and pose a serious threat to the security and safety of Qatar residents and residents in Qatar,” Qatar Foreign Ministry said in a statement, as reported by Middle East Eye.
On the other hand, in his first official statement after the attack on Doha, Hamas said the Israeli attack was aimed at thwarting the ceasefire and exchanging detainees.
The Palestinian warrior group confirmed that their high leaders survived the brutal murder efforts by Israel in Doha.
Meanwhile, six people were killed in Israeli attacks in Doha, including the son of Hamas leaders in Gaza, Khalil Al-Hayya, and one of his aide, as well as a Qatar officer.
“This once again revealed the criminal nature of the occupation and his desire to damage every opportunity to reach an agreement,” Hamas said.
Previously, a senior source of Hamas told Al Jazeera that the delegation of the Palestinian movement negotiations, led by Khalil Al-Hayya, survived the murder effort.
