Hasanuddin University
(Unhas) held a demonstration strongly condemning the entry of officials into the campus that threatened freedom of expression and academic.
The action was carried out in front of the Unhas Campus on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Makassar, South Sulawesi, by holding a theatrical streets and unfurling banners that read 17+8 transparency of empathy reform.
“Also mourning of all civilian casualties due to injustice and arbitrariness of the authorities and the absence of the state in civil protection,” said Chairman of the Unhas Theater UKM, Sitti Nurdiana, Friday (5/9).
In the action, students also demanded that the authorities stop repression and brutality of the people who voiced aspirations.
“Demanding the President, the Parliament, and the National Police Chief take responsibility. Cursing strongly the entry of the authorities into the campus that threatens freedom of expression and academic,” he said.

Then demanding the DPR who are not pro and close their eyes to the needs of the people and the DPR must carry out as their function.
“Demanding the government to be transparent in handling the demands of the people,” he said.
According to students that the demonstration that occurred today is a group of anger turmoil that has long wanted to be voiced by all Indonesian people for the disappointment of a system that only strangled the people.
“The people’s representatives who should be a representation of the voices of the people actually closed their eyes and ears,” he said.
Students also invite the Indonesian people to speak and fight the injustice and arbitrariness in any form.
