Saan explained that so far Sahroni was only a Nasdem cadre who had been deactivated as a member of the DPR by the party.

Not only Sahroni, another NasDem cadre, Nafa Urbach has also been deactivated.Both were deactivated after throwing a controversial statement that triggered a series of demonstration waves in recent times.
Sahroni previously stated that the person who wanted to dissolve the DPR was a fool, while Nafa Urbach was highlighted for defending home allowances for members of the DPR.
Saan, who is also the Deputy Chairperson of Nasdem, explained that so far the Party DPP had written to the faction that had been forwarded to the DPR Secretariat General to stop all Sahroni and Nafa Urbach’s rights as legislative members, one of which was salary.
Now it is just waiting for the process of terminating Sahroni and Nafa’s salary as a member of the Parliament that is taking place at the Secretary General of the DPR and the Honorary Court of the Council (MKD).
NasDem previously also requested salaries, benefits, until the facilities received by Sahroni and Nafa were stopped following the deactivation of both as members of the Indonesian DPRI.NasDem Party Faction Chair Viktor Laiskodat claimed that the request was delivered as part of the enforcement of party mechanisms and integrity.
“The Indonesian Parliament NasDem Party faction requested temporary suspension of salaries, benefits, and all facilities for those concerned, who are now inactive, as part of party mechanism enforcement and integrity,” Viktor said in a written statement on Tuesday (2/9).
Previously, a number of political parties decided to deactivate their members from Senayan as a result of the spotlight and demands from the public.The representatives of the people who were deactivated ranging from ordinary members, commission leaders, to the leadership of the Indonesian Parliament.
Besides Sahroni and Nafa, Eko Patrio and Uya Kuya from the PAN Faction, and Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament Adies Kadir from the Golkar Party Faction was also deactivated by membership.The statements and attitudes of the five are considered problematic and cause turmoil in the community.
