After undergoing training camp in Vietnam, Macau claimed to be enthusiastic
Indonesian U-23 national team
in the U-23 Asian Cup qualification 2026.
Macau is in a group with Indonesia, South Korea and Laos in Group J U-23 Asian Cup qualification 2026.
Macau will undergo its work in the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers against South Korea at the Gelora Delta Stadium, Sidoarjo, Wednesday (3/9).
“We practiced in Vietnam to form cohesiveness. We are enthusiastic for tomorrow’s match,” Macau Ieong Lek Hang player said at a press conference in Surabaya, Tuesday (2/9).
Macau coach Kwok Kar Lok Kenneth also hopes that training camps in Vietnam can be the capital to deal with their opponents including Indonesia.
“We are a young team and certainly want to add as many experiences as possible. About the preparation, our captain has said that we are preparing ourselves in Vietnam and we want to score goals in every three matches in the next.”
“We have an important task. Indonesian opponents will also be difficult for us. But we are now preparing for South Korea,” said Kwok Kar Lok Kenneth.
On the other hand, Indonesia who acts as the host will be challenged by Laos in the opening match which took place on Tuesday (3/9).Three days later, Indonesia will meet with Macau.
