IDR 900 billion to improve
public facilities
(fasum) to government buildings and DPRDs that have been damaged by unknown people in recent times.
Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo said the improvement would use an emergency fund.According to him, emergency funds are prepared to improve infrastructure throughout Indonesia.
“The total cost (repair) of the whole Indonesia yesterday we counted, almost around Rp900 billion, almost yes, a total of Rp800. Starting from light, heavy, and medium,” Dody said at the Toll Gate (GT) of Pejompongan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (2/9).
The Ministry of Public Works has set improvement project targets for each affected facility.Dody conveyed the length of time to adjust the level of damage for each facility.
He said the work could reach six months if the impact of severe damage.For moderate damage, the work time is targeted for three or four months.
“If we are light, we are targeting less than one week to be finished. Like only the glass is damaged, it’s a maximum of seven days,” he said.
Separately, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk prepared a budget of around Rp80 billion to repair the toll gate (GT) damaged by riots.
Director of Jasa Marga Rivan Achmad Purwanto said that currently seven damaged toll gates are under repair.He targets all toll gates to operate normally on 10 September.
“There are seven (toll gates that are repaired). In total yesterday we counted around Rp80 billion (repair budget),” said Rivan at GT Pejompongan, Central Jakarta.
Rivan said the seven damaged toll gates namely GT Senayan in the direction of Grogol, GT Semanggi 1, GT Semanggi 2 -direction Cawang, GT Pejompongan, GT Slipi 1, GT Slipi 2, and GT Kuningan 1.
Physical repairs to the highly damaged toll gates are projected to take about six months until complete.

Previously, a number of public facilities in Jakarta and several cities in Indonesia were damaged by unknown people on Friday (29/8).In Jakarta, Transjakarta noted that a total of seven BRT stops were burned and 16 other stops were damaged by unknown people.
There is also a burning of a number of government and legislative buildings.For example, the burning of the Makassar City DPRD building which also killed three people.
