1. Alexander sobs (Liverpool to Newcastle) – € 144 million
Liverpool surprised the world of football by recruiting Newcastle striker, Alexander Isak, for € 144 million (around Rp2.7 trillion) who broke the English League transfer record.
Although the transfer fee of sobs is slightly lower than the estimated Newcastle which reaches € 173 million, but it is still a new record in the transfer market in the English League.
The Swedish player has undergone a medical test in Merseyside and signed a contract for six years with a salary of around € 350,000 per week.
Sobs, whose move from Newcastle to Liverpool had caused drama, now expected to be a mainstay on the front lines of the Reds.
2. Yoane Wissa (Brentford to Newcastle) – £ 55 million
Newcastle United succeeded in completing the transfer of Yoane Wissa from Brentford at a cost of £ 55 million (around Rp1 trillion) on the last day of the transfer market or precisely with only 30 seconds remaining.
Wissa had expressed his frustration on social media related to the delayed transfer process.
Wissa will wear number 9 in Newcastle, which was previously abandoned by Alexander sobs who left Liverpool.
