Following are a number of facts about Iran’s strength after the war against Israel that make the US wary.
1. Ready to build another nuclear site
Iran has confirmed that it will rebuild the nuclear site damaged by the Israeli and US attacks last June. The site was even called “stronger than ever.”
This was conveyed by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
“By destroying buildings, we will not back down. Scientists still have the necessary nuclear knowledge,” said Pezeshkian, as reported by Reuters.
However, he did not provide further statements regarding the plan. However, in February before the Israeli attack, Pezeshkian claimed that Tehran would rebuild its nuclear sites if attacked.
Israel began massive attacks and bombings against Iran last June, sparking a 12-day war between the two countries.Apart from targeting nuclear facilities and settlements, Israel’s attacks also killed many of Iran’s leading scientists.
2. Claim stronger military power
After the war against Israel, Iran also claims that it now has a more formidable military force.Iranian Defense Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Reza Talaei said the capabilities of the defense system’s main tools had increased after the conflict.
“After the 12 Days of Holy Defense, the Armed Forces’ weapons, operational and support capabilities have increased significantly compared to before this war,” Talaei said on Sunday (26/10), quoted by Middle East Monitor (MEMO).
Talaei said Israel and its allies had failed to hit targets in Iran despite preparing for an attack for 15 years.
Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also echoed a similar statement. He denied that the US had succeeded in destroying a number of Iran’s nuclear sites in the 12-day war.

3. Ready to fight in the next 10 years against Israel
Iran is also ready to fight for 10 years against Israel. This was conveyed by one of the military commanders, who said that Tehran was ready to face a war of up to 10 years with Israel due to increasing tensions between Iran and Israel and the United States.
Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and former Minister of Defense Brigadier General Amir Mohammadreza Ashtiani emphasized that the Iranian military has sufficient supplies of equipment and morale to face a long conflict.
“Our equipment has not suffered significant damage, and we have enough supplies to fight for ten years if necessary,” Ashtiani said in a statement, quoted by local media.
According to him, the determining factor for victory on the battlefield is not only the strength of the equipment, but also the fighting spirit of the soldiers.
“The most important thing is morale. They say morale is three-quarters of the battle. Our troops are experienced, well-trained, equipped with modern systems and have high fighting spirit,” he added.
After the war, Iran’s military strength did not change much.Data from Global Firepower (GFP) still places Iran in 16th place, slightly below Israel. However, in the table, Iran is marked with a downward arrow, which means it is experiencing a decline.
This ranking site for countries with the strongest military in the world uses the Power Index (PwrIndx). The assessment carried out by Global Firepower uses categories based on military finances, logistical capabilities and geography.
Israel and its ally the United States claim to have succeeded in destroying three nuclear installations in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country had won the 12-day war with the Zionist country.
Iran is ahead in six of the eight categories of the GFP assessment compared to Israel, including number of active personnel, land power, sea power, logistics, national resources and finances.
Iran has around 610,000 active personnel and 350,000 reserve troops.
Meanwhile, Israel has 170 thousand active personnel, but is ahead in the number of reserve troops which has now reached 465 thousand people.
In air power, Israel is still superior with a total of 612 aircraft, compared to Iran which has 551 units.
