KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager Ixfan Hendriwintoko explained that this step was carried out to provide alternatives for prospective customers who would use trains from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen, as well as avoiding the potential for traffic congestion to Gambir Station and Pasar Senen due to the concentration of the mass of the action.
“This operating pattern engineering is temporary and applies to train trips on Friday, August 29, 2025. That way, the community has a choice of closer and strategic departure points, especially for those from the east of Jakarta. This is to maintain customer comfort and the running of the railroad operations,” Ixfan said, “in a written statement, Friday (29/8).
Kai Daop 1 Jakarta appealed to customers who will use the train service today to adjust the time of departure, as well as prepare enough travel time to anticipate the existence of traffic engineering patterns.
“We appeal to prospective customers to continue to comply with all the applicable provisions for mutual safety and comfort,” concluded Ixfan.
