“BPBD data for Agam Regency, on Tuesday (3/12), at 20.00 WIB, the distribution of evacuees was in seven sub-districts. The identified evacuee population was 15,307 people,” said Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari in a written statement, Wednesday (3/12).
In detail, in Tanjung Raya District 9,198 people, Malalak 2,419 people, Palembayan 1,511 people, Tanjung Mutiara 901 people, IV Koto 778 people, Ampek Nagari 400 people and Palupuh 100 people.

Meanwhile, data on material losses in Agam Regency as of Tuesday (2/12), reported a total of 1,059 houses damaged.In detail, 465 houses were heavily damaged, 188 units were moderately damaged, 406 units were slightly damaged.
Then public infrastructure was damaged, including 10 bridges, 25 damaged roads, 6,780 meters of water network and 102 educational facilities.BPBD is still collecting data and detailing data in the field.
“To this day, the Agam regional government continues to make efforts to repair emergency infrastructure, such as broken roads and bridges. A number of heavy equipment has been deployed for repairs, with the aim of distributing aid, deploying heavy equipment and mobilizing residents,” said Abdul.
Apart from that, BPBD has activated a command post (posko) located in the hall of the Agam Regent’s official residence.Meanwhile, to mobilize resources, the post has activated 13 field posts in 13 sub-districts.
Then, to fulfill the food and drink needs of residents in refugee camps, the post has operated 26 public kitchens.Public kitchens are in the form of public kitchen cars as well as tents and residents’ houses.
“Air distribution continues to be deployed to help with public kitchens and other needs needed by refugees, especially in points that are still isolated,” said Abdul.
